Crealo’s royalty reporting module automatically generates royalty statements in compliance with your legal obligations.
To avoid any manual reprocessing, Crealo allows you to create and customize your own royalty statement templates based on:
- your internal templates
- your partners’ requirements
- specific constraints in certain countries
Two types of royalty statements available by default in Crealo
Crealo offers two standard royalty statement formats.
The detailed statement by title, presented in both gross and net amounts, shows the sales for a given work over the period, their breakdown by channel, the calculation bases applied, and the royalties generated.
The consolidated royalty statement brings together, in a single document, all the titles associated with a beneficiary, the royalties generated for each one, and the total for the period. It provides a concise format suited to authors or rights holders with several titles published by the same publisher.
In addition to these standard templates, Crealo allows you to create custom statements tailored to your specific needs.

How do you configure a custom statement in Crealo?
Custom statements rely on the data already available in Crealo.
You configure your statement template once by selecting the information to display. Each time a statement is generated, the corresponding data and amounts are automatically inserted. No manual re-entry is required.

It can then be reused for all your royalty reporting cycles. Each new statement generated from the template automatically uses the updated data for the relevant period.
